Way back in 2007 we were a software development company called Iceberg Software, delivering online applications for clients such as Philips, BAE, and GE. We came together from different backgrounds in development, marketing, data analytics, and design. We were growing and we enjoyed the work, but if we're honest it wasn't what we really loved, and it wasn't why we started the company.
A constant theme among our clients was the need to track, report, and visualize their data without the frustration of large, cumbersome BI systems. So founders Stuart Kinsey and Paulo De Sousa took the plunge: goodbye software development company, hello SimpleKPI. We set out in 2012 with a passion for online software, a small bank balance, and a single aim of providing affordable, easy to use KPI tracking to small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) everywhere. No venture funding, 100% independent. Our customers are our only investors.
